The Secondary school New curriculum in Uganda is being frustrated by teachers, Hon. John Crysostom Muyingo, the state minister for Higher education in Uganda has revealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the minister, teachers still refer to the new curriculum as tiresome in terms of preparations and finding instruction materials adding that the resistance is affecting the successful implementation of the curriculum in Uganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The minister reveled that government is considering using punitive measures against teachers and schools that still resist government programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also noted that efforts to implement the new curriculum have been slowed down by inspectors of schools who he said have failed to execute their duties. He however added that government is now mobilizing parents to take over the supervisory roles in order to save the curriculum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some companies have however come out with digital solutions to help teachers and schools in the implementation of the new curriculum by providing both learning management and new curriculum report Card systems. Most of these solutions are easy to use since they automate all areas that seems to be very hard for teachers in Uganda.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
